This was a very difficult design and that is why no other companies have made a gauge pod for this car. Most companies that make gauge pods make one that has to be drilled in, but with the 04+ Grand Prix\'s the A pillar is very deep and nobody could make a gauge pillar that would screw into the car, so we designed one that snaps in like the stock one does.
This is the same design as our original one except that we got rid of the old molded material that was painted and went with an OEM style material that is just as strong, flexible, and heat resistant as the OEM GM pillar. Same color and texture as your OEM pillar. These are not painted or a generic black ABS like other gauge pod manufactures made. The color is made into the material, so it will never flake off, scratch off, etc. It basically looks and feels like your original pillar in the car right now except that it has 3 holes for gauges!
This is not a typical cheap gauge pod that mounts to your stock pillar. This totally replaces your stock pillar. You just unclip your stock A pillar, take the metal clips off of the stock pillar and put them on the new gauge pod. Clips right in. No drilling at all!
