ZZPerformance 2.5\" w/ High Flow EPA 48 State Legal Catalytic Converter Stainless Polished Exhaust PipeWe also have 3\" versions on our other sales. 2.5\" is perfect for naturally aspirated (not supercharged) cars or even supercharged cars that do not plan on doing too much added modifications.
We are the leader in the 3800 Series II and Series III engine and have been making and selling these downpipes longer than anyone on the market. The stock downpipe is very restrictive. Depending on what you have done to your car it adds up to 15 HP.
This is a complete bolt on. Will bolt to your stock exhaust manifold and connect to your stock catback exhaust system. You\'ll see others trying to replicate, but there is just no comparison. We run Interlock Flex Section. Not a cheap flex that frays away. All the flanges and exhaust hanger is also stainless.
Front and rear gasket, hanger, and o2 Bung is included on this downpipe. Direct bolt on. No welding needed. This sale also includes an o2 extension harness (ZZ-O2EXHN-1B) that is needed so you do not have to cut wires. Just plug and play.
Keep in mind this is a Performance exhaust pipe. This is emissions legal in most states, but California and New York has adopted California style smog emissions. California has special cats that are required. Check with your local DMV. The catalytic converter included is a high flow 2.5\" that is 48 state legal.
Compare to Magnaflow who charges $500, are mig welded with cheap flanges. Ours is full stainless tig welded with interclock Flex sections at half the price! You will not find a better downpipe on the market period!
