Action Clutch single disc clutch kits contain a range of Street to High Performance clutch systems which out perform the competition. All stage kits are built using American materials which are all locally sourced here in Los Angeles as we have been doing for 60 years. Each stage kit has its own advantages as well as its own formulated friction materials. As you move up in our staged kits, the clamping force of the pressure plate increases in order to provide more torque capacity, this is achieved all while maintaining a comfortable pedal feel.

All of our staged kits come complete with the clutch disc, pressure plate, throwout / release bearing, pilot bearing / bushing (when applicable), and alignment tool. Components may be purchased individually as well.

The Action Clutch 1KS Stage 2 Kit uses their reinforced Steel-Backed Full Face Kevlar® friction material. This kit features a single diaphragm heavy-duty pressure plate all while maintaining an OEM-like pedal feel and a super smooth engagement after proper break in. A few great advantages of Kevlar® is its longevity, super smooth engagement, and heat dissipation. This reinforced Kevlar® sprung disc is engineered for vehicles that have basic bolt-ons, or an NA vehicle with headwork such as cams or a very low boost or Nitrous setup. These fibers have a low static to dynamic friction coefficient, making them an ideal choice for applications where smooth engagement is essential (ex. daily driving, stop-n-go, off-road driving). Due to the properties of Kevlar®, their stage 2 kits have an exceptional life-span with minimal increase in pedal feel and a more confidence inspiring engagement. Like all of their sprung kits, the Stage 2 kit features fully enclosed spring retainers to help protect your investment from any springs popping out which can cause catastrophic damage to your transmission or engine as seen with competitors. To get the best longevity and holding capacity from this Kevlar® kit, it is crucial that you break in this clutch as conservatively as possible. After each kit is assembled, it goes through multiple quality checks before it is signed off by one of their lead engineers (50+ years combined experience).


Break-in Requirements
1,000 street miles / Keep RPM’s under 4500, no more than half-throttle, no boost (if applicable).
Proper break-in is required in order to retain product warranty, ensure longevity and holding capacity.

*Increase in holding capacity is rated in Crank Torque, not Wheel Torque.

WARRANTY WARRANTY

Action Clutch warrants this product against defects in material or workmanship as follows:

Action Clutch will replace at no charge for parts only that proves defective because of improper workmanship. If Action Clutch is unable to provide a replacement and repair is not practical or cannot be made in a timely fashion, Action Clutch may elect to refund the purchase price in exchange for the return of the product.

Action Clutch offers a 90-day warranty from the original date of purchase. Action Clutch also offers a 30-day return policy with a 20% restocking fee.

Action Clutches warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by:

(1) Conditions, malfunctions or damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship. (2) Conditions, malfunctions or damage resulting from (1) normal wear and tear, improper installation, improper maintenance, misuse, abuse, negligence, accident or alteration. (3) Accessories, connected materials and products, or related products not manufactured by Action Clutch. (4) Damaged input Shaft causing HUB to strip (5) Failure to resurface the flywheel will invalidate Warranty.
