The Yukon YA WU-05 Spin Free Locking Hub Conversion Kit is a comprehensive front hub upgrade for 2000–2008 Dodge Ram 3500 dual rear wheel (DRW / dually) 4WD trucks. It covers both the Dana 60 front axle (2000–2002 Ram 3500) and the AAM 9.25" front axle (2003–2008 Ram 3500 DRW). The kit eliminates the factory sealed unit bearings — a known weak point on these heavy-duty trucks, particularly under the additional stress of dual rear wheels, oversize tires, and high-torque diesel engines — converting to a traditional tapered roller bearing design that is easier and more economical to service.

Yukon Hardcore low-profile premium locking hubs are included, allowing the front wheels to spin freely in 2WD and disconnecting the front driveshaft from rotation to reduce parasitic drivetrain drag and improve fuel economy. Upgraded 4340 chromoly outer stub axles replace the factory units for significantly increased strength under towing and off-road loads. This kit is for dually Ram 3500 trucks only — single rear wheel Ram 2500/3500 owners should see the YA WU-04 instead. All installation hardware is included for a complete bolt-on installation.
