These factory transmission components are responsible for transferring engine power through the gearbox and controlling gear selection.

• Normal oil staining, discoloration, and cosmetic wear from engine use
• Removed from a 2006 Kawasaki KX250 2-stroke
• Gear teeth and engagement dogs should be inspected for chipping, rounding, or excessive wear
• Shift forks should be inspected for bending and wear
• Shift drum grooves and contact surfaces should be inspected before installation
• Shaft straightness, gear backlash, and component clearances have not been professionally measured
