OVERVIEW
The Laufenn S Fit A/S is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Laufenn offers a 45,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
The tire enhances the all weather traction. The all season compound and the asymmetric tread design work together to boost the dry, wet and winter weather grip. The tread\'s ideally placed 3D siping pattern manages to provide additional biting edges, greatly improving the year round performance. The tread design also boosts the rubber flexibility and the heat build-up resistance throughout the model\'s performance. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint, resulting in a stronger wet weather performance.
The asymmetric tread\'s surface contact greatly enhances the controllability. The maintained surface contact improves the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In other words, the tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the driver\'s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The shoulder pattern is stabilized with the tie bars, which allows the tire to enhance the cornering and maneuvering capability. The heat resistant compound and the structure\'s steel belts and jointless nylon cover enable the tire to securely perform at high speeds.
The model utilizes the tread design and the all season compound to improve the length of its usability. The heat-resistant compound minimizes the treadwear rate by preventing heat build-up across the tread area. On the other hand, the stabilized footprint manages to evenly distribute the driving pressure across the tread area. This actively avoids premature and irregular wear formations, significantly increasing the length of the service and tread life.
The S Fit A/S improves the comfort levels as well. The stability of the tread elements and the optimized block stiffness optimize the road contact while the tires are in motion. In this manner, the close surface contact allows the tire to absorb the shock of driving, minimizing the road vibrations felt by the passengers. It also avoids tread flexing, allowing the tire to channel airwaves through the footprint and preventing soundwave formations. As road noise and vibrations do not reach the vehicle\'s cabin, the tire guarantees a quiet and comfortable driving experience.
