ENGINE HAS 17,489 MILES, WAS RUN AND TESTED WHEN IT CAME IN. ENGINE WAS SOLD AND CUTOMER INSTALLED WITH HOLLERY HI RAM INTAKE, INJECTORS, THROTTLE BODY, HEADERS, PROCHARGER AND TUNE. FIVE DAYS LATER THEY WERE UNABLE TO KEEP A FRONT SEAL IN THE ENGINE. WE SUSPECTED THAT THE PISTON RING LANDING WAS BROKE ON ALL CYLINDERS. LEAKDOWN TEST SHOWED THAT IT WAS UNABLE TO HOLD PRESSURE ON 7 CYLINDERS. CYLINDER BORES ALL STILL LOOK LIKE NEW. WE HAVE REMOVED ONE PISTON TO CONFIRM BROKEN RING LANDING BUT ARE CONFIDENT THAT ALL 8 WILL BE BROKEN THE SAME WAY. EXCELLENT CORE FOR BUILDING OR POSSIBLEY REPAIRING. THIS IS BEING SOLD AS A BUILDABLE CORE WITH THE SAME RECOMENDATIONS THAT WE GIVE FOR ALL BUILDABLE CORES.

The listed core engine/short block has been visually inspected for breaks, cracks and any type of damage unrelated to normal wear that would prevent it from being rebuilt. It has been checked to ensure that it rotates freely 360 degrees. This item is NOT sold with the intention of the seller installing the engine/short block without it first being rebuilt. Rebuilding can consist of but is not limited to a machine shop doing any and all necessary machine work such as: honing and or boring cylinders, resurfacing as needed, installing new cam bearings, freeze plugs, and grinding or polishing crankshaft. When rebuilding all worn parts should be replaced. These parts can consist of but is not limited to, piston rings, pistons, rod bearings, main bearings, oil pump, and timing chain. The previously mentioned is not intended to be a full and comprehensive list of machine work that will need to be done or parts that will need to be replaced. Shipping
OK Auto Parts ships to US addresses within the lower 48 states. Any and all other destinations will be shipped through the Global Shipping Program. Small packages will ship UPS Ground only. We do not ship USPS and do not ship to P.O. Boxes. Large items that require freight shipping will ship on a common carrier such as R&L Carriers, AAA Cooper, South Eastern, etc. We are responsible for your purchase getting to you safely so we only ship on carriers that we have confidence in taking care of the items we are selling in order to get them to you safely.
