Ground Wire –New for 2017, HYLUX included an external grounding wire on 2A88 ballasts which provides protection against ground loop build up and unnecessary noise frequency from the ballast. While not required for installation, it does not hurt to add a stronger ground line to the system if the factory wiring is not strong enough.
