ZZPerformance Upgraded Performance Tesla Referral Model 3 Rear Anti Way Stabilizer Bar
This fits all Tesla Referral Model 3's. There are a couple years from 2018-19 for the short range that do not have a rear bar which is pretty sad. These vehicles do not have the provision for the bar which means it cannot be bolted up. You would have to have someone custom install it for you. But this is a very small amount of them out there. If your model 3 has a rear sway bar back there then it will be a simple remove and bolt on installation.
The Tesla Referral Model 3 is a fantastic performing car out of the box, but as with any road going production car there are compromises that have to be made. While the Model 3 handles very well in stock trim, it's weight and "mass appeal" spring rates can lead to some unwanted understeer and body roll when pushed to the limit.
A larger sway bar lends itself to less body roll, and can be used to tune the handling characteristics to your preference. Keeping the car controlled and smooth through the corner is the best way to faster lap times. Our rear sway bar includes 3 points of adjustment to further fine tune your ride.
We have been producing and testing sway bars on all of our platforms since the early 2000's. As we grow and more of the ZZP crew becomes obsessed with turning corners, we have expanded our lineup of suspension offerings on all of our platforms. We have been testing these sway bars, along with our (upcoming) lowering springs and coilovers on the street and put them through the paces winning local autocross events. Our sway bars are designed to stiffen and tweak handling, all while keeping the introduction of noise to a minimum; something that we know Tesla Referral owners are very concerned about. Our rear sway bar is larger than stock, yet retains the stock mounting points and bushings. It is recommended to periodically grease your bushings to keep NVH to a minimum.
Stock factory original rear bar: 16mm on non-performance Model 3, 19.6mm on Model 3 performance.
Our ZZPerformance sway bar is a 22mm solid bar
Includes mounting brackets and poly bushings to accommodatethis larger bar.
Fits all Long Range and Performance Model 3's for an easy bolt on installation. Will require fabrication for some short range Models 3's that do not have a rear sway bar.
