This kit is NOT suitable for most smallFord Model A doors but is compatible with various 1932 and newerFord for Chevy for Chrysler, and other cars and trucks featuring flat glass windows. It fits numerous classic car and custom street rod applications.
2. Window Type Compatibility:
This kit is designed exclusively for flat glass windows.
3. Glass Attachment Requirement:
The glass must extend down into the door by at least 1-1/2 inches to ensure proper attachment to the window regulator.
4. Travel Range:
The window provides a straight up and down travel of 16 inches.
5. Clearance for Regulator Mounting:
There must be a minimum of 1 inch of clearance between the glass and the door to allow for the installation of the window regulator.
6. Track Dimensions:
The tracks measure 20 inches in length and 1-3/8 inches in width.
7. Motor Dimensions:
The motor has a width of 5 inches and a length of 6-1/4 inches.
8. Overall Kit Depth:
The kit has an overall depth of 2-3/8 inches.
9. Recommended Door Cavity Depth:
For optimal installation, a door cavity depth of at least 2-1/2 inches is recommended.
10. Minimum Space Requirement Below Glass:
When the window is in its lowest position, there must be a minimum of 7 inches of space below the glass.
