Unlike traditional Aluminum 6061/6063 or ABS intakes that absorb engine bay heat and transfer it directly into your air charge, our system is engineered from Zyltech Glass Fiber ASA. Sourced from Houston, Texas, this advanced composite material acts as a thermal barrier, keeping your intake air temperatures (IATs) lower for consistent power delivery—tested during our brutal Phoenix summers.
Designed and manufactured right here in Arizona, this intake combines the chemical resistance of ASA with the structural rigidity of glass fiber reinforcement, ensuring it stands up to vibration, oil, and extreme under-hood temperatures.
Why Glass Fiber ASA?
We chose Zyltech ASA-GF for one reason: Performance reliability in harsh Heat Soak: Metal pipes act as heaters for your intake air. Our Glass Fiber-enforced ASA material has significantly lower thermal conductivity, insulating the cold air inside from the hot engine bay.
Engineered for High Heat: With a Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT) of 97–99°C (206–210°F), this material stays rigid and secure, maintaining a perfect seal even when engine bay temps spike.
Structural Rigidity: Reinforced with 15% Glass Fiber, this intake features a stiffness (Young's Modulus) of 2540–2890 MPa. It won't collapse under high-vacuum wide-open throttle pulls or deform under hose clamp pressure.
Chemical & UV Resistant: Engineered for demanding outdoor and structural applications, this material offers superior resistance to UV radiation, engine oil, and gasoline fumes.
