Factory original beige/tan BMW Z3 wide rear console oddments box storage compartment lid taken from a '97 Z3 without roll hoops or subwoofer. This is the 24" wide version that swings open over the storage compartment in the rear center console, not the 14" wide version that covers the subwoofer and is stationary. Please check your dimensions before ordering! (I also stock the 14" version.)
DETAILED CONDITION REPORT: EXCELLENT OVERALL1) The plastic on top has been professionally cleaned but it does still have minimal wear including scuffs, light stains, rubs, etc. but no fading.2) There is one small crack which I zoomed in on (pic 10) and JB Weld Plastic Bonded from the back (pic 16) so as to help stop the crack from expanding.3) The underside foam is present and in good shape (pic 14).4) The underside had one broken threaded insert which I JB Weld Plastic Bonded (pic 15) back into place and the remaining 9 threaded inserts are all good (pic 14).5) All 12 screws/washers are present and in good shape (pic 21).6) The locking mechanism is also present and in good condition (2nd to last pic).
To my fellow Z3 enthusiasts: I have done my best to both restore this rare vintage piece and to describe it in as much detail as possible so that there are no surprises. That stated, I have only seen 2 other ones of these 24" wide versions here on and the beige/tan one I saw is not only cracked all over the place, but it's also missing almost all of the threaded inserts. Not only that, it doesn't even have the bottom piece and the price is $139.99 + $35 for delivery. The other 24" version I saw is black, not beige/tan, but it is just a subwoofer cover, not a swing open compartment lid for a whopping $449.99 + $50 for delivery. That stated, I believe I have priced mine accordingly.
And finally, due to the fragility of this particularly wide version of the rear compartment lid, I am not accepting returns.
