DESCRIPTION:
A refurbished Porsche (Bosch) Boxster wiper motor and harness to replace your tired late 944 or 968 wiper motor.
We created a wiring harness to allow you to install 20 year newer technology on to the naturally failing 944/968 wiper motors.
This setup has been modified to directly fit your Late model 944 or 968 and very importantly, without modification to the wiper assembly, so you can always go back to original if you want.
Pros:
1 Much better technology in newer electric motors.
2 Fully functional timed, slow and fast speed and park functions.
3 The Bosch motor is smaller, lighter, more powerful, and not sealed. If you have worked on these cars, you will know that the motors fail prematurely because they basically sit in a puddle of water unless your drains are continually cleaned, and Porsche attempted to correct this by sealing the motor and placing a plastic cover on it, but sealing it makes the situation even worse, as they are not waterproof in the bottom, and they will hold water from rain and condensation. The newer motors, being smaller are located about 1 inch higher from the bottom, and have direct holes that allow them to breathe and to dry themselves.
Cons:
You lose originality (although this is also a Porsche part).
You have only medium and fast speed, versus slow, medium and fast in original motor.
We use new connectors which are very difficult to source and have the Porsche tax attached, connectors alone are about $100.00
