This is an original aluminum intake from a 1969 Plymouth 440 six barrel engine. This intake has the funny looking 6 at the end of the part number.
Intake has been primed with DPLF epoxy primer and KBS Motor Coater paint.
This intake has pitting on all gasket surfaces. The surface is like an orange peel texture.
I am selling this intake as is because I am building a 440-6 and this intake came with some carburetors. I was going to use it and noticed the pitting on the gasket surfaces. I am not sure if it is supposed to have it, if any is normal, why it has it, etc. This is how it came to me. I am guessing someone sandblasted it with the wrong media type. It could probably be fixed with some JB weld type material and reground or sanded smooth. Or load it with RTV sealant.
