Tested OEM LM2 AHL (Light Module 2 / Adaptive Headlights) Control Unit for BMW. Manufactured by Lear. This main lighting computer manages exterior illumination, including the adaptive steering-tracking headlight functions. It is a direct factory replacement for late-model E6X chassis vehicles and is a very popular upgrade component for earlier models undergoing LM1-to-LM2 lighting retrofits. Bonus: Includes the main factory wire harness pigtail still plugged in, which is excellent for bench-testing, retrofitting, or repairing melted vehicle wiring. - CRITICAL FITMENT & INSTALLATION NOTE : This module is NOT plug-and-play. Because the Light Module stores the vehicle\'s VIN and mileage data alongside the instrument cluster, it MUST be professionally coded to your vehicle\'s specific Vehicle Order (VO) using NCS Expert, ISTA, or an equivalent BMW diagnostic tool. Failure to code the module will result in a \"tamper dot\" on your odometer and incorrect lighting functions.- Vehicle Fitment:
2006 - 2008 BMW 750i / 750Li (E65 / E66)
2007 - 2008 BMW Alpina B7 (E65) Also fits various BMW E60 (5-Series) and E63/E64 (6-Series) models. Buyers performing LM2 retrofits are responsible for verifying their own wiring and coding requirements.
