Up for sale is a nice refurbished Mopar (Dodge/Chrysler/Plymouth A604 differential carrier assembly. I am in the process of downsizing my sole proprietorship after 42 years in the transmission industry, freeing up a bunch of parts, odds and ends, "gizmos & gadgets" that I've held on to over the years. Hopefully these pieces will help in your restoration(s) or projects. This is a clean, honest A604 differential with the standard 22 roller driven side bearing and heavy duty larger 19 roller drive side bearing, (see pics). It has the later, more durable pinion and side gears with solid roll pin. This housing can retro earlier applications if used with the matching drive side cover. I will be listing more complete assemblies, but I'm concerned about shipping weight. Let's see how this one is received and we will proceed accordingly. Be mindful when setting these up for preload, as not all housings and shim strategies are the same. It's best to assemble the differential and covers into the case without the pinion shaft to assess the preload. The selective shim is behind the race on the cast iron drive side cover and will need a special tool to remove the race. As you can see, it has been fully disassembled, inspected for imperfections, thoughtfully cleaned and reassembled as shown. offer with confidence, as experience matters!
