This 5357970 fuel filler hose set is a brand-new aftermarket replacement for 1978-1986 Jeep CJ5 and CJ7 models equipped with the 15 gallon fuel tank. It restores a leak-free connection between the fuel filler neck and the fuel tank inlet, and is manufactured to meet OEM specifications for inner diameter, length, and routing.
Original CJ filler and vent hoses are now nearly 40 years old. Age, fuel exposure, and UV light cause the rubber to harden, crack, and seep — producing a fuel smell after fill-ups, drips under the filler area, or a slow fuel leak. Because the filler hose and vent hose deteriorate at the same time, this listing supplies both hoses together so the job is done once, correctly.
Please Note: This hose is designed for the 15 gallon tank only. It will not fit 20 gallon tank applications. Hose clamps are not included.

- Loosen the clamps and remove the original filler hose and vent hose. Drain residual fuel into an approved container.
- Clean the filler neck and tank inlet fittings; inspect for corrosion or damage.
- Install the new vent hose first, then the filler hose. Route both along the original path, clear of heat sources and moving parts.
- Fit new clamps and tighten securely — snug is enough; do not crush the fitting or cut into the hose.
- Refuel and check both connections for weeping or odor before returning to normal use.
