You are offerding on a vintage Water Outlet or Thermostat Housing, P/N# D-926. This is a high-quality aftermarket part made by General Automotive Products in USA (I believe) back in the day. According to the label, this item will fit many 1962-65 Ford & Mercury 221, 260, & 289 V-8\'s, maybe others; please check your application carefully before offerding. It is new; old shelf stock from a closed retailer. The original ragged box is included as shown. It is a rough casting made of rugged cast iron, not aluminum, so it won\'t crack if you overtighten it. Note this housing does not have recess for thermostat, see picture.
