Upfor sale is a flawless, time-capsule pair of original 1980s StewartWarner gauges pre-mounted in their factory black under-dash dualpanel. This kit has been safely tucked away in a dry parts cabinetsince the 1980s and has never been bolted into a vehicle or wired up.
Thisis the highly desirable Heavy Duty / Deluxe series featuring theunique bottom sweepface layout with crisp green numbers, bright red needles, andglare-reducing matte black bezels. Both faces feature the originalorange, white, and black target center dot on the needle hubs.
Full transparency, I have been in possession of this gauge set since the 80\'s. I opened it but never installed it in the car. I worked in an auto parts store in the late 70\'s early 80\'s and it came in with a damaged box. Owner of the store sold me the gauge set at cost, boy was I was I geeked. Had every intention of installing it in my 71 Cutlass, never got around to it. For the life of me I cannot find the light kit or any of the factory installation pieces for it. I\'m cleaning out my parts cabinets for storage of small engine parts and found it wrapped in cheese cloth of all things. It\'s been in this cabinet all these years, someone may appreciate what it is and how old it is.
