You\'ll feel like your truck is riding on a cloud of air...because it practically is! Beyond ride comfort, Sport-Rite air helper springs work to heighten your safety on the road. They help level the vehicle to support braking and steering responsiveness, level headlight beams, and reduce tire wear.They could help other parts of your Ford, Chevrolet, or GMC last longer and perform better, too. Sport-Rite air springs prevent leaf springs from permanent sagging under constant load and decrease your chances of bottoming out by softening the interaction between the axle and frame.Your Firestone Sport-Rite kit comes with everything you need for quick installation, including air springs, hardware, brackets, air line, and valves for manual inflation. Installing your Sport-Rite air springs should only take about one or two hours. Note that this kit requires a minimum of 6\" of clearance between the tire sidewall and the vehicle frame, and 1/2\" clearance around the air spring when inflated. Given the clearance requirement, this air helper kit may not fit vehicles with some brands of fifth-wheel or gooseneck hitches since the kit must be bolted to the vehicle frame and not the hitch plates.
