NOS ORIGINAL MAGURA 270 / 271 / 275 VINTAGE MOTORCYCLE THROTTLE & LEVER ASSEMBLY
Very nice New Old Stock original German Magura throttle/control assembly from an old vintage motorcycle parts inventory.
This is an original MAGURA part — not a modern reproduction.
The assembly comes with the original blue MAGURA box and original MAGURA fitting/instruction sheet as shown in the photos. The instruction sheet specifically identifies the applications/control series as:
MAGURA 270 / 271 / 275
The assembly includes the twist throttle/grip and integrated hand lever/control assembly as pictured. Also included are the original Magura packaging and paperwork shown in the photographs.
These vintage Magura controls were commonly used on and associated with numerous European motorcycles of the period, including:
* Bultaco
* Ossa
* Montesa
* Maico
* Penton
* CZ
* Puch
* Other European vintage motorcycles using the Magura 270/271/275-style control
This style of Magura control was used primarily on European motorcycles from the late 1960s through the 1970s, including various motocross, enduro, trials and off-road motorcycles.
IMPORTANT FITMENT INFORMATION:
Because Magura supplied controls to numerous European motorcycle manufacturers and individual models could use different cable ends, cable lengths, lever configurations and throttle arrangements, please compare the assembly and Magura 270/271/275 identification with the original equipment on your motorcycle before purchasing.
I am not guaranteeing this assembly as a direct bolt-on fit for every model or every year produced by the manufacturers listed above. The manufacturer names are provided as known/common vintage applications for this style of Magura control.
CONDITION
New Old Stock (NOS).
This is an original vintage part that has been stored for many years. It may have minor shelf/storage marks consistent with its age. The original Magura box shows age and storage wear, and the original instruction sheet has yellowing, folds, wrinkles and other age-related wear as clearly shown in the photos.
The actual control assembly presents very nicely for an original NOS vintage component.
The original box and original instruction sheet are a major plus for someone doing a period-correct restoration or collecting original Magura components.
