Black Scorpion vs. 350 MAG
The important distinction is output. Mercury’s application guide lists the 5.7 Black Scorpion at 330 HP, compared with 315 HP for the 5.7L 350 MAG MPI of the same period. The Black Scorpion also has a higher specified WOT range of 4,800–5,200 RPM.
