This is a Front Gummy Tire - IRC IX-09 Gekota. These tires have always worked well in greasy, wet, slick conditions. But they actually work really well all-around terrain too. This is my go-to tire for the front and many of the people I ride with also choose this tire even in dry conditions. Just like most tires, this was designed and tested for racing and it is used in extreme events like Hard Enduro and Endurocross. If you have not tried a gummy front, you might be surprised at how good this tire is.
