Innovators West / LFP crank pulley kit is based on the Innovator\'s West replacement balancer assembly for the GM LT4 engine, PN 8410. Kit represents a clean and simple way to add boost & horsepower to your superchargedCadillac or ZL1 Camaro withoutmaking any permanent modifications.

Innovator\'s West balancer is precision-machined in USA. Installs directly in place of yourcast factoryunit. The SFI-approved IW balancer with LFP crank ring assembly weighs only 12.6 lbs, compared to 16.2 lbs for your factory steel unit. Installation of this kit removessignificantrotating mass from front of your engine, and it adds the proven wet clutch harmonics-dampening technology that makes Innovators West the premier balancer in motorsports.

Our Lightning Force Performance CNC-machined crank pulley rings bolt directly to new balancer using the provided fasteners. Once balancer assembly is installed, changing the outer ring to adjust boost level is simply a matter of six allen-head fasteners. Crank pulley rings are also available separately and are listed elsewhere in this section.

TheSuper Duty Hub Upgradeis generally recommended for vehicles making 900HP or more. It includes a heavy-duty steel hub that mates with the crankshaft snout (where the load is highest), and this hub is machined from a higher grade of steel and is larger in size. A new seal is included with the SD balancers for use in the front cover to accommodate the larger hub.

There is no downside to using a SD hub balancer other than the modest difference in cost and the time required to install the provided front seal.

Note 1: In the LT4 application, it is not necessary to change or relocate idler pulleys to fit crank pulley rings as large as 10.5\". In select ZL1 applications, rings sized 9.55\" and larger may interfere with the front sway bar.

The 9.10\" kit requires the 080842HD belt. The 9.55\" kit uses the K080850HD belt, and the 10.0\" kit uses the K080865 belt.
