Genuine FACET 476087 12V Electric Fuel Pump for Weber DCOE

The FACET 476087 is a cylindrical 12-volt electric fuel pump for automotive carbureted fuel systems, including Weber DCOE applications. It supplies fuel to the carburetor inlet so the float system can maintain fuel level during starting, steady operation, and throttle transitions. Correct inlet pressure and reliable electrical grounding are important because excessive pressure or unstable pump operation can disturb needle-and-seat control, fuel level, mixture consistency, and transient response.

This silver competition-type pump is rated for applications up to 150 BHP and is compatible with E10 and E85 fuel. The specification includes a flow rate of 30 US gallons per hour, a dry-prime height of 0.6 metres, and a 1/8 NPTF thread connection. Overall dimensions are 140 mm long and 54 mm in diameter, with a listed weight of 0.7 kg. Operating temperature is specified from -40°F to +180°F, with an average run time or MTBF of 6,000 hours.

The pump uses negative earth and is suitable only for 12-volt systems. It will not operate on 24 volts. Install it with a reliable negative connection and the required rubber-isolated mounting arrangement. The included grounding wire must make a clean, secure connection; a poor connection at the negative terminal can cause intermittent operation or pump malfunction. Read the installation manual before fitting, as incorrect installation can void the warranty. This pump is manufactured to automotive specification and is not recommended for aircraft maintenance.
