Power Window Motor Replacement Steps
Part 1: Detaching the Window from the Motor
1.Take off the inner door panel.
2.Carefully peel off the plastic door cover.
3.Find the window mounting bolts.
4.Adjust the window position if needed to reach the bolts.
5.Remove the bolts with a friend holding the window in place for support.
6.Lift the window up into the door frame.
7.Secure the window using masking tape.
Part 2: Detaching the Motor and Regulator
1.Remove the bolts of the window regulator.
2.Locate and take out the mounting bolts of the window motor.
3.Unplug the wiring harness connector of the motor.
4.Take the motor and regulator out through the access opening.
5.Attach the regulator to the new motor.
Part 3: Fitting the New Power Window Motor
1.Slide the new motor and regulator back into their original position.
2.Refit the mounting bolts.
3.Reconnect the electrical connector.
4.Peel off the masking tape and lower the window back down.
5.Fit the window mounting bolts back on.
6.Reinstall the plastic door liner and the inner door panel.
