Product Remark:Aluminum; Dimension: 38\'\' x 12\'\' x 8.5\'\' (44\" Wide with Brackets); Mounts Between Frame Rails Under bed; Custom Fuel Filler Neck Required; Pick-up Tube is non-removable; Includes Sending Unit for Aftermarket GaugesThese 17 gallon aluminum fuel tanks are designed to be mounted under your 1947-53 Chevy pick-up box. The 1-1/2\" filler neck will require a remote filler neck or fuel filler door in the box floor. They DO NOT accept the original truck fuel sending unit, but do accept the common sending unit provided with aftermarket gauge sets. Therefore consideration is needed when choosing the fuel gauge configuration when purchasing. Note: The pickup tubes are sealed into the tank to prevent leaks and removal will damage both the threads on the pickup tube as well as the tank fitting.NotesPlease note that the pickup tube when installed into the tank is bonded in place and is not able to be removed from the tank. If the pick up tube is removed, damage to the tank and pickup tube threads will occur.Pick-up tube is AN6 with 1/4\" NPT Vent Hose. There are five hole that are 10-24 for the sending unit.SpecsMounting brackets are 4\" down from top and 4-1/2\" up from bottom of tank and 10\" wide.Outside bracket to outside bracket is 44\"Fill spout is 1-1/2\" tall x 1-1/2\" OD. Please email customer service and ship your order to the our address. Once we receive the return it will be inspected and the refund will be processed.
