For sale is this very rare, used, No Longer Available (NLA), original Veglia fuel level sender for the Ferrari BB512i..
Upon acquisition, documentation accompanying this unit indicated that it was removed from Ferrari BB512i chassis #52813.
The sender incorporates two separate functions:
• Fuel level sender circuit – provides the variable resistance signal for the fuel gauge.
• Low-fuel warning circuit – activates the low-fuel warning light incorporated into the fuel gauge.
BENCH TESTING
The unit has been bench tested prior to listing.
The fuel-level circuit shows changing resistance as the float arm is moved through its travel, indicating operation of the resistor winding and wiper.
The low-fuel warning circuit shows continuity when the float reaches the low-fuel position and changes to an open circuit as the float arm moves the wiper away from the low-fuel contact.
The internal wiring and electrical connections have also been checked for continuity. The wires and contacts show no apparent cracking or deterioration, and continuity is present across the resistor winding.
The original yellow cadmium-plated finish remains in good condition. Please review the photographs carefully for overall cosmetic condition.

This is a used vintage electrical component, and the reason it was originally removed from the vehicle is unknown.
The sender has been tested only on the bench as described above and responded correctly during those tests. It has not been installed in a vehicle or tested with an actual Ferrari fuel gauge, so installed operation cannot be verified or guaranteed.
