All bulbs and stepper motors are brand new and replaced with oem high quality parts. We DO NOT use aftermarket parts in any of our rebuilds.2. New capacitors diodes and voltage regulator for the power supply which is also redesigned to emit less current and heat which are the main culprits of failure. Capacitors usually go bad which causes extra resistance in the circuit and destroys the diodes. Which is why we replace them with updated oem components as well.3. New Trip Button to avoid any language scroll or trip issues. Very common.4. All solder joints are reflowed with fresh amtech nc559 flux and Kester solder to ensure no cracked joints. This step eliminates the intermittent power issues, completely dead, no guages, random flashing.5. After rebuild is complete, the cluster PCB will be given a heated ultrasonic baths on both sides for maximum cleanliness. This step alone will extend the life of the board and the components tremendously!6. Once the reconditioned unit is clean and free from any foreign bodies, we apply a thin layer of modified silicone conformal coating to protect the board and the new components from dust, moisture, and heat. Common causes for component defects.7. Now we assemble and calibrate. The guages are calibrated electronically using a function generator and oscilloscope to mimic the sensors on the vehicle. That way, we can calibrate it to a proper and exact point that eyesight just cant do.
