Edelbrock 4262 Elite II Valve Covers bring back the unmistakable Elite Series style with a modern twist for Gen I small-block Chevy engines (262–400 V8, 1959–86). Inspired by the original Elite design first introduced in 1985, these covers deliver a classic finned look that’s equally at home on a period-correct build or a clean, updated engine bay.
They’re constructed from heavy-gauge, die-cast aluminum and finished in a show-quality high-luster polish with gloss black accents between the raised fins for that signature Elite contrast. This #4262 set is the short valve cover version, aimed at tighter-clearance setups where you want the Elite look without moving to a taller profile. Note: oil filler cap and hold-down tabs are not included.
