Up for sale is a genuine Edelbrock Performer-Plus Camshaft Kit (Part #2162). This hydraulic flat tappet kit is engineered specifically for Big-Block Chevy engines to deliver excellent low-end torque, crisp throttle response, and a smooth street-friendly idle. It is perfect for daily drivers, hot rods, trucks, and towing setups running from idle up to 5,500 RPM.
KIT SPECIFICATIONS:
* Intake/Exhaust Valve Lift: 0.500" / 0.500"
* Duration @ .050" Lift: 218° Intake / 228° Exhaust
* Lobe Separation Angle (LSA): 114°
* Operating Range: Idle to 5,500 RPM
* Vacuum at Idle: ~14"-15"

* WHAT IS INCLUDED: This kit includes the hydraulic flat tappet camshaft, a matching set of flat tappet lifters, assembly lube, and installation instructions.
* ENGINE COMPATIBILITY: Fits 1967 and later Chevrolet 396, 402, 427, and 454 Big-Block V8 engines.
* EXCLUSIONS: Does NOT fit early 1965–1966 Big-Block Chevrolets that require a grooved rear cam journal.
* TUNING NOTE: For best performance, Edelbrock recommends pairing this with a Performer series dual-plane intake manifold. Do not use dual valve springs or late-model emission-controlled timing sets with this setup.
