Installation Tips
For the initial installation, warm the motorcycle for approximately 10 minutes or until the cooling fan has cycled. The warmed plastic can make installation easier.
Do not force the air deflectors into place. If a deflector does not appear to be aligning correctly, stop and verify that you have the correct side and that the motorcycle matches the listed fitment.
Fit Tolerance & Pre-Ride Inspection
As with any clip-on accessory, rare cases of slight differences in fit may occur due to normal manufacturing tolerances between the air deflectors and the motorcycle.
After installation, verify that each air deflector is properly seated and securely attached.
The Claw Series is designed with a secure clip-on attachment to the factory fairing. As with any removable motorcycle accessory, we recommend including the air deflectors in your normal pre-ride inspection and checking that they remain properly seated before each ride.
Minor 3D-printing characteristics such as layer lines, seams, texture variations, or other small print imperfections may be present.
🏍️ HOW TO USE / RIDER POSITIONINGFor Proper Airflow Direction
The air deflectors are designed to redirect radiator airflow away from the rider's legs when the rider's knees and legs are positioned completely behind the air deflectors.
For the intended airflow direction and best results, the rider’s knees and legs should remain completely behind the installed air deflectors while riding.If the rider’s knees or legs are positioned in front of, beside, or around the air deflectors, the rider’s knees or legs can be placed directly back into the path of the radiator airflow. In this position, the air deflectors cannot redirect the airflow away from the rider’s knees, and the rider may continue to experience hot airflow in that area.Rider position, seating posture, riding style, gear, motorcycle setup, and other conditions can affect how the airflow is experienced.The air deflectors are designed to redirect radiator airflow away from the rider’s legs; they do not eliminate the heat produced by the motorcycle or guarantee a specific temperature reduction or level of comfort.Rider Contact
Depending on rider height, seating position, riding posture, and gear, a rider's knees may come close to or make light contact with the air deflectors.
This varies from rider to rider and is not the same for everyone.

These are 3D-printed functional motorcycle accessories, not injection-molded OEM parts.
Each air deflector is thoroughly inspected before being shipped. Products with defects that could affect fit, function, or durability are removed from inventory and are not sold.
Because these are functional 3D-printed parts rather than injection-molded OEM components, minor cosmetic characteristics inherent to the 3D-printing process may occasionally be present, such as subtle layer lines, surface texture, seams, or slight visual variations between individual pieces. These are normal characteristics of the manufacturing process and do not indicate a defect.
Products with purely cosmetic imperfections that meet our functional and fitment standards may be separately offered as Cosmetic Blemished items and are clearly identified as such before purchase.

A full set requires approximately 40 hours of actual print time — about 20 hours per air deflector. This does not include setup, processing, inspection, or packaging.
We use ASA plastic, specifically selected for its UV, heat, and weather resistance. ASA is more expensive and more demanding to print than typical PLA, requiring temperature-controlled printing conditions and causing additional wear on the printer.

The price reflects the materials, extensive development, machine time, and production involved in making a durable outdoor-use product, not simply the amount of plastic used.
