REMOVABLE BAFFLE DESIGN
This exhaust system uses removable baffles secured near the exhaust outlets.
With the baffles installed, the system provides a more controlled exhaust note.
Removing the baffles creates a louder and more direct exhaust sound.
The installation video for this style of exhaust demonstrates that the baffles can be removed individually using the retaining fasteners.
CUSTOM CRUISER STYLE
The shorter black exhaust layout gives the V Star 650 a cleaner and more aggressive custom appearance compared with the longer factory-style exhaust.
INSTALLATION NOTES
For best fitment:
- Install and position the front pipe first.
- Align the exhaust flange before fully tightening the mounting hardware.
- Install the rear pipe after the front pipe is positioned.
- Install the supplied mounting brackets and hardware.
- Check pipe alignment and clearance before final tightening.
Professional installation is recommended.
The installation shown for this exhaust style required some adjustment of the front pipe angle before everything aligned correctly, so we recommend leaving mounting points slightly loose until the complete system is positioned.
