Here’s the blue dog bone strap from Mytee Products to complete the 8-point rollback tie-down system. They are known as replacement short straps as they secure wheels/tires on flatbed trailers, car carriers, or rollback trailers. The strap ensures even weight distribution and center alignment of the 8-point tie-down system, reducing vehicle movement, shifting, and falling during hauling. This dog bone strap features a sewn eye loop reinforced with gray protective sleeves to reduce abrasion and wear. The heavy-duty polyester dog-bone strap provides additional features to explore. Strap Measurements: The length of this short tie-down strap is 16 inches, and the width is 2 inches. The strap can withstand a working load limit (WLL) of 4,000 lb and a breaking strength of 12,000 lb. It is recommended not to cross the mentioned working load limit to avoid injuries and accidents. Crossing the WLL can cause load-securement failure.
Heavy-Duty Polyester Webbing: Our short tie-down straps are made of high-quality blue polyester webbing. The color ensures visibility in low-light conditions, warning the passerby and vehicles. The webbing further features an eyeloop of 5\" length, reinforced with gray protective sleeves. It not only extends the webbing\'s life but also reduces the impact of constant rubbing. Thus, maintaining the quality and functionality over the years.
Stable and Secure Loads: Our short tie-down straps are designed for a blue 8-point rollback tie-down system. This system secures vehicles/tires on flatbed trailers, car carriers, or rollback trailers to reduce shifting or falling during hauling. The dog bone strap will enable haulers to centrally align the 8-point tie-down system and evenly distribute webbing tension/force around the wheels. Further, reduces vehicle shifting and falling, keeping a firm hold on the wheels and restricting any slight movement.
Hassle-Free Installation: Dog bone straps are used with an 8-point rollback tie-down system. The flexible end webbing will be fed through eyelets and wrapped around the vehicle’s tires (secure both side end fittings and feed the flexible end webbing into the ratchet buckle). Remove excess slack by ratcheting, and ensure the soft end loops are centered.
Note: The ratchet buckle is not included with this dog bone strap.
