The package includes 1/2-20 open-end lug nuts; however, some vehicles in the general application list may use a different factory stud thread. If your factory studs are not 1/2-20, separately obtained open-end nuts matching the vehicle\'s original thread may be required to secure the adapters. ✔ Installation Information CHECK FACTORY-STUD AND WHEEL CLEARANCE The vehicle\'s original studs may extend beyond the outer face of the one-inch adapter. The back of each wheel must have sufficient recessed pockets to accommodate any protruding factory studs. Confirm clearance before installation. Do not modify the adapter\'s pre-installed studs. Installation Requirements 1. Verify both bolt patterns, the center bore and all thread sizes.
2. Safely raise and support the vehicle before removing the wheels.
3. Clean rust and debris from the hub and wheel mounting surfaces.
4. Install each adapter flush against the corresponding vehicle hub.
5. Hand-tighten the correct open-end nuts and torque them in a star pattern.
6. Install the wheels on the adapter\'s 1/2-20 studs.
7. Verify complete wheel, brake, suspension and body clearance.
8. Recheck all fasteners after approximately 25-50 miles. PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION STRONGLY RECOMMENDED Wheel adapters are safety-critical components. Do not use an impact wrench for installation.
