This is not an OBD scanner interface, this device does not require any software to operate, this device automatically programs the BCM when you connect it to the vehicle's OBD 2 port. Once the programmer is used on a vehicle, it will become locked to that vehicle's VIN and will not work on any other vehicle.INSTALLATION
For 2018+ model year vehicles, you will need to use the securitybypass module.
Disconnect the bigger plug from the security getaway module and connect it to the security bypass module, Turn ignition key to the ‘RUN’ position, wait for 1 minute and connect the programmer to the OBD 2 port of the security bypass cable.The GREEN indicator will light when programming is complete. Solid red light means programming is in progress, yellow light means VIN does not match. If the red light stays on for longer than one minute, just re-insert the device.Once the green light is on, wait for 20 seconds and turn off the car. Disconnect the security bypass module, reconnect the security gateway plug. Leave the car off for about 15 minutes, and now your controller has to be working.If not, just disconnect the negative (GROUND) connector of the battery for 20 minutes.Specifications
