This is a junkyard pull. While getting a few parts for my car, I decided to take this for a couple of reasons, since the Lincoln dealership couldn\'t get one for my car a year ago (fortunately I got one off ). I\'ve included the VIN number and this came from a 2007 Signature Series. From my research, it appears this MIGHT work on 2006-2008, based on other user\'s listing, but no guarantee--you need to do your own research. If you\'re having issue with the sudden stopage of various electricial components, this is a likely culprit. Now from my experience...these are very specific for the Lincoln model you have. I have a Designer Series. This likely won\'t work in my unit since it was designed for a lower trim level...the Signatures. And not even sure it\'d work with an \"L\" series...but the Signatures appear to be the most common. This unit also MAY require programming by Lincoln OR if you have a cable and are familiar with FORSCAN, it\'s a DIY project. Plenty of YouTube videos on FORSCAN.
Now the maybe GOOD NEWS is I found a code written in the owners manual which may or may not work (then it\'s back to FORSCAN). If it works, then likely you got a unit that needs no further attention. Pop it in and Bob\'s your uncle. Again, I can\'t guarantee that the code from the owner\'s manual is for the OEM or if the guy who owned it previously had it replaced. It\'s simply the luck of the junkyard.
