This ignition switch fits allHonda Civic from 2003 to 2005withan automatic transmission. The part was removed from a 2004 Honda Civic. This ignition switch comes withone key.This listing DOES NOT include the bracket and the bolts.

• Honda Civics that are year2001 or newerare equipped with an immobilizer system. The keys havea chipinside of them. The chip key must match the engine computer in order to start the car.
• If the car willnot startbecause of this issue there will be a light (showing a picture of a key) that will come on in the dashboard when you crank the engine. This indicates that the car will not start due to not having the proper key.
• In order to solve this issue you can:
• Have the key to the lock you ordered copied by a local locksmith, but ask them to program the chip to match the one in your old key.
• If you do not have the old key a locksmith can connect a small machine to the OBD2 port in the vehicle and program the car to work with the key that came with the products ship in less than 24 hours (except weekends and holidays).
