2002-04 Porsche 911 996 Carrera 4S Halogen Headlights Pair L/R FOR REPAIR For Sale - New and Used

Pair of left (driver) and right (passenger) headlight assemblies removed from my 2004 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S (996). These are being sold together FOR PARTS OR REPAIR. They are not ready to install or use without inspection and electrical repair.Both assemblies have adhesive tint applied to the front lenses by a previous owner. The tint is lifting in places, but I have not attempted to remove it and cannot guarantee how the lenses will look underneath. The lenses also show some age-related haze and yellowing. I have not polished or restored them.A previous owner modified the headlights for an aftermarket HID retrofit. Holes were drilled in the removable rear bulb-access covers, and the internal bulb mounting/connection arrangements have been altered. When halogen bulbs were put back in, tape was used in place of a proper connection or mounting arrangement. Some original hardware or connectors may be missing.The passenger-side assembly has known electrical damage. While installed on the car, a short damaged one pin in the main connector that mates with the vehicle wiring. The passenger-side parking-light connector also shorted and is burned/damaged. The wires remain present, but the connector will need repair or replacement. The full extent of the wiring damage has not been diagnosed.Please assume these headlights require inspection, replacement of damaged wiring/connectors as needed, and correction of the previous HID modifications by someone qualified before installation or use. I have not tested either assembly since removal.Shipping: I have a pair of OEM Porsche headlight boxes and will pack each assembly in its own box for shipment. The boxes are included for protective shipping; I am not representing them as the original boxes for these particular headlights.The photos are part of the description and show the tint, lenses, rear-cover modifications, and damaged passenger-side connectors.
