1987 40hp Johnson top engine cowling. Probably fits other years under 198 and under but I think they completely changed latching geometry in 1989. This item will only fit 40 or 48hp under 1989 and then only if you\'re happy with the decal. This cowl is in real good condition for its age. It has a couple of spots of wear along the right side viewing from the rear, but very little. See pics. The latches work as they as they should. I failed to include a picture of the top but it is in the same condition as the rest. No sever fading or marring.
