the restoration of the exhaust pipe included heat guard repairs and installation of a NOS spark arrestor which was welded in place w/ the addition of the welded on rear shock mount bracket. once completed the complete assembly was sandblasted & repainted with a high-heat satin black finish.
the spark arrestor was an original NOS part that was wrapped in packing paper 50+/- years ago.
