Hubcentric vs Lugcentric Spacers Most wheel spacers on the market are lugcentric, meaning the vehicle?s weight is supported by the lug studs. This can allow the wheel to sit slightly off-center, which often leads to vibration, uneven lug loading, and long-term wear on studs and bearings. These spacers are true hubcentric. The vehicle?s hub pilots the spacer, and the spacer pilots the wheel ? just like a factory wheel mounting surface. This ensures the wheel is centered mechanically before the lug nuts are torqued.
