Rare NOS Cadillac Gold Key Blank - #3 VATS Ignition for Brougham, Fleetwood, Concours, DeVille, Eldorado, Seville, & Allante
This is a NOS (New Original Stock) Gold Keyblank with the Cadillac Wreath & Crest on both sides of the head. The VATS(Vehicle Anti-theft System)ignition key was used on Cadillacs producedfrom 1989 to 2002. The VATS ignition key has no letter code, but it has a smallblack pellet embedded in the key stalk.
There were15 different VATS keys were originally produced. They are all visuallyidentical.PLEASE DO NOT ORDER A KEY IF YOU HAVE NOT MEASURED THEELECTRICAL RESISTANCE (IN OHMS) OF YOUR CURRENT KEY. If you have questions orneed help, please ask.
In order to determine which VATS key you need, you\'ll need to measurethe electrical resistance value of the pellet in your current key (in ohms). Ifyou don\'t have an electrical meter or don\'t know how to use a meter, you mightask for help from a friend, an electronics repair shop, or from the PartsDepartment at your local Cadillac dealer.
