Rare NOS Cadillac Gold Key - Blank VATS Ignition - forBrougham, Fleetwood, Concours, DeVille, Eldorado, Seville, & Allante
This is a NOS (New Original Stock)Gold Key blank with the Cadillac Wreath & Crest on both sides of the head. The VATS (Vehicle Anti-theft System)ignition key was used on Cadillacs produced from 1989 to 2002.
This is a Blank VATS Gold key. It has no VATS chip. This is for buyers who want a Gold VATS key, but the specific VATS for their car is NOT available (VATS #1, #4, #7, #8, #9, #10, #11, #13, #14, and #15). The buyer would need to purchase a VATS key from another source and then transfer the chip from that key to the Blank VATS Gold Key.
If you don't already know which VATS key you need, you'll need to measure the electrical resistance value of the pellet in your current key (in ohms). If you don't have an electrical meter or don't know how to use a meter, you might ask for help from a friend, an electronics repair shop, or from the Parts Department at your local Cadillac dealer.
