You can drill this out larger and tap to other sizes if required. The overall external length is about 13.5" and about 3.5" in diameter external size. This has 592 sqin of cooling area and is rated for 120 hp Diesels with closed cooled exhaust manifold. For gasoline engines with raw water cooled exhaust manifold it can cool engines with up to 240 hp or more. Many customers have used this for 350 ci V8 engines with up to about 290 hp. Cooling capacity is also dependent on flow rates. For gasoline motors with closed cooled exhaust manifold (not common) the capacity is more near that of the Diesel engines with closed cooled exhaust manifold.
