Yamaha Drop Brackets

1997-2005 Models

1997-2005 Yamaha 2 stroke snowmobiles with the Pro Action Suspension were some of the greatest snowmobiles ever produced. Very fun, powerful AND reliable, a huge percentage of these models are still on the trails!

These sleds had one shortcoming – the rear suspension is too low to the ground. This can be easily fixed and vastly improved with these new easy-to-install Custom Drop Brackets made specifically for the 1997 - 2005 V-max, Sx, SX-r, SRX, Viper, and Venom models.

The Drop Brackets are simple and easy to add to your sled.

1. You do not have to remove the stock brackets and rivets, or add new rivets.
   
2. New Drop Brackets go right over stock inner bracket.
   
3. Replace stock outer rear bracket with the new custom 3 hole rear bracket.
   
4. Added new drop brackets will add 3 inches of drop (LIFT).
   
5. You can put back to stock at anytime if desired.
   

We have designed a simple installation for the new Drop Brackets. With the step-by-step instructions, one person can install the Brackets in 1-2 hours by themselves. You will not need any special tools or have to remove the rear suspension or seat.

*You will need to move the rear suspension center hole (by the footwell)by

drilling new small hole and moving the existing bolt and suspension arm. Can be put back to stock anytime*
