Absorbing noise that’s already in the cabin is the last step of any vehicle soundproofing project. Mega Zorbe is a lightweight melamine foam with excellent physical properties, making it ideal for both sound and thermal insulation. We’ve enhanced our melamine foam through a proprietary process to make it hydrophobic and safe for vehicles. Because it’s an open cell foam, Mega Zorbe is perfect for absorbing those medium and high frequency noises in your vehicle.
- HYDROPHOBIC MELAMINE FOAM: Second Skin’s Mega Zorbe is a 1/2” thick lightweight melamine foam treated with a patented process to repel water, making it excellent for heat insulation or acoustic improvement in cars and trucks.
- OPEN CELL FOAM: Open cell foam is the highest quality sound absorbing material for absorbing high and medium frequency sounds in your vehicle. We offer the Mega Zorbe open cell foam in sheets (4 Sq Ft each)
- HEAT AND SOUND INSULATION: With a high sound absorption coefficient and r-value (4.16/inch), Mega Zorbe will improve acoustics in the door cavity or add roof insulation above the headliner.
- SAFE AND EASY TO USE: Meets all aerospace, transportation, and construction standards for fire, smoke, toxicity, and water resistance. Each sheet includes high temperature peel and stick adhesive backing.
- GERMAN AUTO: High quality melamine foam made in Germany and treated in the USA to create an effective and innovative automotive solution
