This is surely the most informative carburetor sale you will ever see on . Please be sure to inspect the 24 pics and description below as I am telling you everything I know about the carburetor. If you NEED a numbers correct housing Holley, this is it! I make ZERO claims on the exact specifications but my research shows this Vintage carb to have possibly once belonged to a 1967 Ford with a 390ci and 4-speed option. I have seen references to the Mercury Comet, Mustang and/or Cougar. This one is a bit of a mini Frankestein....it has the original proper body and primary bowl. A different later zinc color secondary bowl. Finally the last obvious changed piece is the double pumper 4776 baseplate, that seems to have been properly switched over to vacuum secondary. (Typical for a 55+ year old 1967 carburetor to have it\'s baseplate tab snaped off from a He-Man installer. I\'ve done it with those old school layered heat shields.) It still has the noticeable secondary accelerator pump arm stud in the plate should you decide to use it for another project carb. Yes. it\'s still the same as the 600 baseplate as the bores dictate the CFM size, not the baseplate holes. Yes it matches up properly with no step or lip to obstruct flow. Honestly, DP plates are hard to come by unless you buy an aftermarket one and even those are well over $100 on . I call it a 4160 style since it has the metering block (stamped 2562) primary side and no metering block on the vacuum secondary side, using a metering plate instead. This is NOT a show quality piece...far from it. Will be a great parts contribution carb or teardown and rebuild for a great driver quality version. It has nicks and dings. It also has a slight tiny half inch long crack at the choke housing. See last pics with pen pointer. The flap opens and closes as usual and as long as it\'s left alone, I have no concerns for breaking off. I\'m certain a knowledgeable tig welder can fill this in if you NEED it corrected for your restoration. Also shown is a teeny tiny Crack Ata breather tube area. You can see the tube is intact. Otherwise, no obvious signs of damages, cracks, or repairs. Looks to be at least 90+% complete. I pulled the primary bowl to show it wasn\'t pulled from the bottom of a lake. Secondary bowl is pulled showing me the # 34R-2007B metering plate. Not sure if that\'s original or not. Cork gaskets actually look pretty new and soft. A hint of fuel smell shows me that someone TRIED to spruce it up at some point recently. They failed of course but at least you may be able to salvage the gaskets. ZOOM in on the hi-Q pics as I have given you shots from every possible angle so you can make an informed decision. Further below, I have listed the obvious numbers and pieces missing, which you can surely score from your deep Holley parts bins! Altho the app shows some, hop on the site online and Inspect my EXCELLENT responses. Especially the carb ones. Item is boxed up Ready to Ship FASSTT! Numbers and specs are as I can see on the carb and pieces. I make ZERO guarantees of the originality of these parts and is 100% up to YOU to research the specifics for your rebuild/restoration needs. Again, this is a near 57 year old carburetor that surely was passed thru many hands since it was created. This is NOT a new carburetor. This is NOT a Ready2Run carb.
- C70F-9510-A & List 3793 609 on choke horn. The Ford sequence says it\'s a 1967 year (C=60s and 7=1967) Also 6R 3059B molded into the top and P-22 pn the side
- Primary metering block is stamped 2562, has no jets , no power valve, no idle screws either side
- Secondary metering plate # is 12 2 34R-2007B with one screw missing as it is being used to hold the accelerator pump cover in place
- Baseplate is a converted double pumper plate with # 4776-2 with 109 primary blades missing one mounting screw, 282 secondary blades, minor \"play\" in the secondary shaft yet both shafts rotate nicely
- Choke related parts besides the flap and shaft are missing
- Looks to be OEM vacuum pump assembly missing 2 of the 3 hold-down screws, vacuum operates and holds pressure while blocking the hole with my finger
- Primary bowl looks to be OEM missing float level plug, inlet threads look decent and surely will need cleaned up, has brass float, accelerator cover needs all OEM style screws as they are missing
- Vacuum secondary linkage arm is missing, both primary and secondary shafts rotate nicely with only a tiny bit of looseness on the secondary shaft likeley from the mismatch of OEM to double pumper switch
- Secondary bowl looks to be a later version but matching HOLLEY logo, inlet threads look decent and surely will need cleaned up, has brass float
- Missing accelerator squirter, check valve and ball
