This offering is for a OEM Ford FE factory late 1964 or early 1965 aluminum duel quad intake system.
The intake manifold is a low riser C5AE 9425 E, carburetors are C3AF BJA and C3AF BKA. See pictures, they are part of the description and condition.
Very rare complete vintage intake system. When I purchased it I was told it had been in storage for over 40 years, and I have had it on a shelf for over 15 years.Note the hose clamps for the fuel lines, they appear to be the original Ford crimp style (see photo) suggesting this system may have never been been fully disassembled. I removed the carbs as a pair with the fuel log for a mild cleaning for this listing. The intake has the original oil heat shield on the bottom, often this is missing.
I could have media blasted the manifold and air cleaner, I chose to leave them with the natural finish with the patina developed over the years. The buyer can easily have them blasted or finished however they choose.
It pains me to sell it, however I have so many other things going on I know I will never get around to the project I intended it for.
