OVERVIEW
The Prinx HiCountry H/T HT2 is a highway terrain, all season tire made for light trucks and SUVs. Prinx offered a 45,000 mile treadwear warranty with light truck sizes, and a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty with SUV sizes of this model.
Year-round performance is guaranteed with this tire. The asymmetric tread pattern and the all season compound improve dry, wet, and winter traction. In this manner, the asymmetric tread pattern closely follows the road surface in all weather conditions, while the all season compound maintains its flexibility in summer and winter temperatures. On the other hand, circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from the footprint in wet situations. This combination increases driving safety levels throughout the whole year.
The tire can boost steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the steering response time is faster and more precise to the driver\'s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting it. At the same time, wide shoulder blocks firmly grip the road surface with extra biting edges, upgrading cornering and maneuvering. As a result, these elements enhance overall controllability as the driver has full control over the vehicle during the ride.
The optimal tread design with the NBC (Nano Blend Compound) technology can boost the tire\'s service life. The asymmetric tread and its road contact prevent irregular wear, while this special compound blend reduces premature wear formations. In other words, the tread design can evenly distribute driving pressure along the tread area, while the compound slows the treadwear rate down. These elements provide a longer-lasting tread life.
The Prinx HiCountry H/T HT2 guarantees a quiet and comfortable ride. The central dual pitch design with PNS (Pattern Noise Simulation) technology maintains road contact and reduces road levels experienced in the vehicle\'s cabin. The tread channels airwaves through the tire\'s footprint without letting them come into contact with the tread elements. As a result, the tire offers an enjoyable driving experience.
